My Lovely Wisdom Teeth

I would like to say goodbye to my lovely wisdom teeth. Today wake up quite early as plan to go see dentist and extract my teeth as heard some old peoples said, is good to extract teeth during morning but I not sure about the real reason and I just follow whatever that is good to me. Heheh…
Actually decided to put braces on Oct so need to remove all the unnecessary teeth but my wisdom teeth is not category in the “unnecessary” teeth but unfortunately it was in bad condition so need to remove too before put the braces. Sob sob…I’m very scare on extract teeth but orthodontist told me I need to remove total 4 teeth in order for me to put the braces and included my bad wisdom teeth, total 5 teeth I need to remove before Oct’09. Therefore, it can be said that this is my 1st out of 5 that I extracted.

Dentist consumed around 40 minutes then only successful to remove my wisdom teeth and there was small operation needed to pull out my teeth so she cost me RM400. Haih...not only mouth pain, teeth pain but heart painful too =(

Anyhow, 4 more to go for me so every weekend on Sept’09, I will just appointment with dentist. =’(
Wish me all the best ya…Hope I am able to go through all this hard time...heheh…

Hmmm…overall I felt the food is just so so…not really very nice..heheh…Maybe you can have a try if you never visit there in case you have different taste with me.

Japin Restaurant Queensbay Mall, Penang

Friday lunch at Japin, Queensbay mall. It is a Japanese style restaurant and located at North Zone Level 3. I feel that area was quite silent as less peoples are passing there, hmmm…don’t why…
Actually we are celebrating birthday with SK but belated one day…heheh…hope our lovely SK don’t mind about that as majority of us only able to make it during Friday lunch time.

Hmm…as for me I feel the food was just average and they served quite slow. We wait about 20-30 minutes for the set and I saw some customers left the restaurant half way due to too slow of the food. So, if you are run out of time, better go for other restaurant.

Home's Cafe White Coffee, D'Piazza Mall

Today one of my colleague was so desired about nasi lemak so she ask me to suggest where to have it during our lunch time. I had suggested 2 places which are Old Town and Home Café White Coffee. Due to they never been Home Café before so we opt for this.

Home Café white Coffee was located at D’Piazza Mall which is a new building nearby Sunshine. Overall, I felt the environment and foods there was considered not bad and with quite reasonable price. Maybe u can have a try when you have no idea about your lunch or dinner nearby this area. =)

Sharing on Knowledge of H1N1 (Precaution and Prevention)

Seem like H1N1 getting worst nowadays. I think prevention against H1N1 is an urgent matter now so I had collected some information that relevant to H1N1 disease from all the article that I read before. Hope everyone aware of this little knowledge and all stay healthy and happy.

Please ensure you take the following precautions:

  • Seek medical attention the moment you show symptoms of Influenza A (H1N1) which are similar to seasonal influenza. An early symptom is high fever, and followed by cough, sore throat, runny nose, and sometimes breathlessness a few days later.
  • Avoid crowded places if you are unwell and wear a surgical mask to cover your nose and mouth.
  • Stay home when you are sick. Do not go out to work or to school.

General Hygiene:

  • Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, especially before touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Turn quickly away from anyone near you if you are about to cough or sneeze.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a piece of tissue paper when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue paper immediately and properly in the dust bin after use.

Prevention:

  • Keeping awake late-nights is not very good. Likewise, over-working (far too much of working until your body is totally exhausted) is not good. Starving without eating food is not good for this disease. Strenuous exercises are not good, as it would make the body acidic.
  • Avoid consuming ACID foods, fruits and drinks. Examples of this: buah kundang, rambai, macang, mango, duku langsat, rambutan (a few ok), mangosteen (very few, ok), durian (not too much), green belimbing used for cooking (sweet buah belimbing, ok), strongly sourish Durian Belanda (sour sop) (sweet sour-sop, ok), sour plums, Roselle drink, Assam Jawa drink (using Assam Jawa for cooking, ok), (oranges, pomelo and lemons are ok, since they contain plenty of potassium), sour pineapple (a little of sweet pineapple, ok), China-imported tit-bits that taste sour: e.g., sourkana, sour orange skin, sour lemon skin, sour ginger, sour-tasting Bayam (pulicha keerai, in Tamil), etc., Generally rice and rice-based foods are good. All those bottled drinks that may contain citric acid (or any other acid or preservatives) should be avoided. Foods cooked 2 or 3 days ago (i.e., old food), if not sterilized properly) should not be eaten as well. This is especially true if the curry contains dhor dhall, kacang hijau (green gram), kacang tanah (groundnut), etc. Must avoid eating chocolates, ALL forms of nuts including groundnuts, pistachio, almond, etc. should not be eaten in large quantities / frequently (A few added to foods can be eaten).
  • Better to eat: dragon fruit, sweet apples, honey melon, water melon, pears, bananas, cucumber, onions, pumpkin, grey 'pumpkin' (Poosanikkai, in Tamil), loofa (Peerkangai in Tamil), Drinking coconut water (and its meat) on alternate days (during day time and not by night) is good. Coconut water can be taken daily if one is travelling around, or is enggaged in strenuous physical work.
  • The fruits of Sea Coconut (Borassus flaberllifers) is EXCELLENT if a person has already contracted the disease. It will give immediate cure. Now, it is available in supermarkets in canned forms: they call it Sea Coconut, imported from Thailand or Singapore : white syrup or gula Melaka preparation: both are OK. (Uninfected people can also eat this for prevention: dosage: just 2 or 3 pieces only in the mornings on alternate days, until the hot season changes.
  • Once infected, the person should eat RICE and rice-based foods, and should avoid high protein diet, chicken, soybean (all kinds), oily foods, Wheat items are not good. Powdered milk, papaya and other acid fruits mentioned above should be avoided altogether.

All take a good care ya ~~

Xuan Xin Buffet Steamboat (炫昇自助火锅)

We had a gathering yesterday at Xuan Xin steamboat organized by my friend, Hoay Fern just because she too miss the steamboat with Chinese Porridge soup base. If not mistaken, I think this Chinese Porridge soup base is the most promoted soup in Xuan Xin.

Xuan Xin slightly different from other buffet steamboat is they offering teppanyaki, specially prepared by the chef on the spot where you just have to choose your favorite raw meat. This way will make you not feel so hot when eating. Actually I quite like this special service as able enjoy the yummy foods in more comfortable environment =)
Haih…unfortunately, non of us bring camera that night so I just used my hp to take some photos and share with you here so some photos I felt a bit blur like that =(
